Join us Thursday, May 26th at 2:30pm for the virtual book launch of local writer Merryl Hammond’s latest work, Navigating Bipolar Country: Personal and Professional Perspectives on Living with Bipolar Disorder. She will be reading select passages and discussing her work editing this anthology .This powerful new anthology amplifies the voices of fellow bipolar patients, their family members, and the clinicians who treat them. Merryl is a long time Baie-D’Urfé resident who trained as a nurse and has a PhD. At age 51, bipolar disorder suddenly derailed her and her whole family: she flipped from being a health professional to a psychiatric patient. She shared the story of her disorder and recovery in a memoir in 2018, Mad Like Me: Travels in Bipolar Country,
